What is Grounding and How it May Help Improve Your Health?

🌳  Β Connect to the EARTH for your HEALTH…for FREEΒ  🦢

A ‘tree hugger‘ is sometimes used as a derogatory term for environmentalists. However, there is a lot of scientific research showing that this tree-hugging term has, in fact, a range of health benefits. Actually, not just tree-hugging but any action of grounding/earthing helps restore our natural electrical connection to the Earth. Read on to find out how grounding may benefit your health and the simple techniques for you to follow to achieve it.

What is Grounding?

🦢 The surface of the Earth has a vast supply of electrons

🦢 Reconnection with the Earth’s electrons is called Earthing (or grounding)Β

🦢 The gentle negative energy of the electrons help neutralise positive free radicals in our bodies that may cause damage to our cells

How Grounding May Improve Your Health?

🦢 Our cells are specialised to conduct electrical currents. Electricity is required for our nervous system. The element/minerals in our bodies, like sodium, potassium, calcium, and magnesium, have a specific electrical charge.

🦢 Grounding research has demonstrated lots of benefits of significant clinical importance β€”including BETTER SLEEP, shift from sympathetic (fight or flight mode) to PARASYMPATHETIC (controls digestive secretions and reduces the heartbeat) tone, BLOOD-THINNING effects and REDUCED PAIN Β

🦢 The WHO/International Agency for Research on Cancer (IARC) has classified radiofrequency (RF) electromagnetic fields as possibly carcinogenic to humans. A carcinogen is an agent that causes cancer. RF radiation from mobile phones, has possible links to brain tumours and cancer.

🦢 Earthing will not shield us from WI-FI or mobile phone electromagnetic field (EMF) radiation, however, it may allow our body’s own electrical system to cope better with it

How To Ground Yourself? Grounding Techniques

🌳 Allow a part of your body to connect with the earth

🌳 E.g. Walk on the grass barefooted, lay in the sand, touch a plant connected to the ground or swim in the sea (or walk in it as I’m doing in one of my photos)… or hug a tree lol…

🌳 Aim for around 30 mins daily and get some sunlight/vitamin D at the same time

πŸ’š Simple, effective and doesn’t cost a penny! βœ…

Grounding, or earthing, offers numerous health benefits supported by scientific research. Connecting with the Earth’s electrons can neutralise harmful free radicals in our bodies and potentially improve sleep, shift our nervous system into a calmer state, thin the blood, and reduce pain. While grounding does not shield us from EMF radiation, it may help our body’s electrical system cope better with it. So, take a moment each day to connect with nature, whether it’s walking barefoot on the grass, swimming in the sea, or simply hugging a tree. This simple and cost-free practice can contribute to your overall well-being and vitality. Embrace the earth for a healthier you! 🌳🦢
