Natural Foods vs. Highly Processed Food: How they impact your health

Dangers of Ultra-Processed Foods

Before I share my new nutrition video, I have a few Qs for you…

How much ultra-processed food (UPF) is in your grocery basket 🙈?

In the UK, more than half of the calories that the average person eats come from UPFs and this amount is even higher amongst children and adolescents 😳.

Do you know that consumption of UPFs are associated with an increased risk of many diseases, such as type 2 diabetes and dementia?

Did you know that margarine and most breakfast cereals are classified as UPF 😱?!

The Benefits of Whole Food

In contrast, diets rich in whole, nutrient-dense foods increase our likelihood of living longer and lower our risk of developing chronic health conditions 💚.

In my new video above, I discuss what UPFs are really made of and the impact they are having on our health. I also share how whole, minimally processed foods can change our lives 🤗.

Please watch my short YouTube video for more information.

Please let me know what changes you are going to make or which bit of information surprised you in the comments section.
